Broadband goes Global!

BGAN Coverage
Forget about the LANs and WANs, the Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) is here.

Telecommunication giant Inmarsat are set to launch the second in a series of two super-satellites into orbit in weeks time. They are among the most powerful commercial communications spacecraft in orbit, and they will serve as switchboards in the sky for Inmarsats’s BGAN service.

The service is scheduled for rollout in 2006, and until then, you don’t have to sit in a Starbucks of McCafe for wireless broadband service, you can hit the road and get online, or connect to your office LAN in just anywhere on Earth, at broadband speeds of up to 492 Kbps.

A Vietnamese dominated population, Springvale is a bustling suburban with food so cheap you’ve to double check the price before you buy them. Careful though on those backstreets as it is where the Springvale Ah Bengs and gangsters meet. Click on ‘Continue Reading’ to find out more.

Let the Sticker do the Talking

Bought a ticket and off the dock we sail to England.
On June 6th 2005, while I was doing the Channel Crossing from Calais (France) to Dover (England) on a SeaFrance ferry, I stumbled upon this 1980s Chevrolet van, apparently owned by some hardcore English Harley Davidson bikers.

Rather have his sister in a whorehouse than a brother on a Jap bike
It says there in a statement on the sticker, “I’d Rather Have My Sister in a Whorehouse than a brother on a Jap bike”. Very hardcore indeed.

As my curiosity kicks in, I was feeling the itchiness on my hand eager to touch that ‘Chevrolet’ emblem on their car, and all of a sudden, (in Imperial English accent) “Ooi, you bloody Asian, keep ya pathetic hands off ma van and Don’t F*cking Touch!”
Don't Fucking Touch

Mozilla Firefox reached 100 million downloads.

Firefox downloads reached 100 million and countring

Awesome marketing strategy and joint-effort by the Firefox community has resulted in 100,000,000 downloads – and this is only their first year. Marketing and promotion was done by Spreadfirefox.com (Sfx), and no doubt about that, it has been a success story. Very impressive just by looking at the numbers. They’re having this 100 million downloads celebration at Spreadfirefox.com and everyone’s invited upload their photos of the celebration. Here’s mine

On the other hand, some die-hard IE fans out there created this to ease their pain a little bit. Please confirm me that I’m not having double vision, guys.
