This is my first time celebrating a new year’s eve on Australian soil. I could miss any wild parties, clubs, and the rock show in Federation Square, but not the firework show – which is a must on every new year’s eve! This year’s fireworks show in Melbourne lasted for about 20 minutes, with a 15 minutes rehearsal earlier at 9pm.

There’s news saying that due to the high-temperature (freaking 42 degree celcius max!) and windy weather yesterday, the firework show might be called off, fearing that it’ll spark a bush fire somewhere. But hell no, the government has no right to spoil the people’s party tonight – after spending millions of the taxpayer’s money on sourcing those fireworks!

Here goes a 3 minute video clip that I’ve made from yesterday night’s event. Enjoy folks! and Alexallied.com wishes you a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

By the way, my video had just gone to the top of Today’s Featured Videos section on YouTube. Not too bad for my first home-made video clip huh?
