Guess what? Your once favorite Malaysian blog aggregator Project Petaling Street is no longer liberal. What is liberal you may ask? Liberalization is something that allows you to speak and voice up freely. Freedom of Speech so to speak.

The PetalingStreet.org (PPS) is no longer under liberal hands. It’s been snatched up by Malaysian blogosphere’s most hated (or maybe the world over?) Islamic fascist. He instilled so much hatred that even his Muslim counterparts were against his pathetic ideology.

This is the ugly face of the most evil wicked Muslim in Malaysia.

quote Galadriel from Faithfreedom.org.

Do you want him to be your leader of the Malaysian blogosphere?

Don’t let yourself be a tool (fool) of his wicked attempt to wipe out the freedom of speech through the wide publicity of PPS. This is pretty much the same tactic as how the Malaysian government bans and filters out blogs, and give out warnings and advice not to read blogs, and prosecute RPK for speaking the truth, and so on. If you were given a chance to vote for a leader to represent the Malaysian blogosphere, I hope he’s not the one you’ll choose. So please, for the freedom of speech, vote against him, remove yourself from automatically pinging PPS.

Top bloggers who expresses their voice of freedom in their blog posts were banned indifinitely from the aggregator, so who’s next? It might be you. I know I can’t ping the PPS for quite some time already and I don’t know why, my enquiry e-mails were all one way communication, without reply from the management, which I doubt there is.

P/s: What’s good about it? It’s never been updated nor upgraded, the theme were from the dinosaur age in terms of Internet time. I wonder why would there still be people coming back to read blogs at such a dull, two-toned webpage. The initial management team had all gone off the radar and the past glory no longer shines.

There are always alternatives when it comes to traffic drawing. There’s Nuffnang’s Innit, Negaraku.net, etc.

Spread the words my fellow bloggers. Boycott PPS.

This is something that will make everyone turn their heads when it hits the road in Malaysia.

The new Toyota Alphard 2009. When Toyota says it’s new, they really mean it’s new. The design, the engine, and everything inside-out. Not some face-lift shit that Proton claimed as “new”, e.g. the Proton Waja and Proton Chancellor. A new car? Hell NO!

Introducing, the new Toyota Alphard 2009! You can literally feel the wind by looking at its design. Superbly designed for optimum aerodynamics!

The all new Toyota Alphard has been officially launched in Japan and now for the first time made available in two different series, the “Alphard” series which emphasizes “elegance” and “refinement” while the “Vellfire” accentuates “power” and “innovation,” thus creating two vehicles with individual identities.

It gets a new 3.5-liter Dual VVT-i V6 engine, coupled with 6 Super ECT and the dependable 2.4-liter VVT-i engine now comes with increased output, coupled with Super CVT-i which provide driving performance with power to spare.A six-speed Sequential Shiftmatic transmission on the 3.5-liter models and a seven-speed Sports Sequential Shiftmatic transmission on 2.4-liter models allow the driver to enjoy a manual transmission-like sensation.

Alright now, let’s drool!
Took a shot of this little annoying siren. It’s not something that I can see everyday. The siren is hidden somewhere to prevent car burglars from easily disabling it. Unlike those “P” and “P” cars where you could stop the alarm sounding within 5 seconds by opening up the bonnet and cut off the wire cause the siren is basically right in front of you, on the wall in front of your dashboard.

All the seats and carpets were removed too. 0-gauge wire looped around the steering.

If you’re looking for the answer whether the 4th generation City (2003 model) bodykit or carbon fiber hood would fit into the 3rd generation’s, here’s the comparison photo to clear the “maybe’s” and “should be’s”.

Click for larger photo.
Left circle indicates the difference in the shape of the hood. 2003 model has a straight line down towards the end while the 2006 had a small curve to allow room for the headlamp.

Right circle indicates the difference in the height of the arch. 4G has slightly taller arch than the 3G’s.

I’ve actually asked my bodykit supplier, who’s the middleman and not the manufacturer, the same question, and this is what I got in his reply.

Yes, it should fit because the way I see it, there’s not much difference between 2003 and 2006.

Yeah right. And then I’ve go on and asked a Lelong seller who sells the same exact bodykit. The answer is still the same.

It “should” fit.

I’ve to make this comparison photo just to show them that they’re not of the same shape and it doesn’t fit. Some of the nicer bodykits are only available for <tag>Honda City</tag> 4G. So I’ve to wait until they create a mould for 3G models. By the way, will have a new bodykit for my City before the end of the year. The current Mugen style is kinda out-dated already :/

I’ve actually left that woofer set out of the car for almost 5 months now due to its weight. Now it’s time to put it back to use before it starts to rot!

10″ <tag>Boschmann</tag> Tyrant in a custom fibre box. Paint work seriously needed. These babies can produce deep bass to supplement that much needed sound pressure.

Covers and drawers are disassembled to ease installation work.

0-gauge wires snakes in from the engine bay. Notice that Strobe-light control box.

Connections on a Caliber pre-amp. No heavy-weights here, just a cheap, simple Caliber CPE-505 pre-amp.

The amplifiers assembly board. No fancy fibreworks here. Starting from the left is Lanzar Heritage 2000w Monoblock amp, MBL 800-watt Digital Amp, and Lanzar Opti 4×400 4-channel amp. All wires are yet to be connected at this point.

This is the car’s first ever after-market headunit. The <tag>Kenwood</tag> DPX-MP4050 CD/MP3 and cassette player. It was sold last year to a customer of mine. My subsequent headunits are Sony’s GT210 and the Alpine CDE-9843 CD/Mp3 player.

I’m currently still looking for a better Alpine player, while temporarily using Pioneer DEH-6850. Its sound quality differs too much from the previous <tag>Alpine</tag> CDE-9843. Once you’ve used an Alpine, I’m sure you’ll be addicted to the crystal clear playback sound it creates, unrivaled by other major brands on the market.

That’s all for this part now, watch out for the final part soon. Videos included!

My Honda City has been in quite a mess of late. A few months back, I've removed the 2 Lanzars at the rear boot to cut weight for I've to travel in between Sibu and Miri quite a lot. Leaving behind this mess.

A few months back, I’ve removed the 2 Lanzars at the rear boot to cut weight for I’ve to travel in between Sibu and Miri quite a lot.

Leaving behind this mess.

Removed wires. Even the thin board covering the spare tires are gone.

Shape of the rear boot cover is cut out from a half-inch thick plywood for better strength. It is later covered with carpet clothes.

This is the 0-gauge Installation kit from Ichibahn that I’ll be using for the upgrade. My previous wiring was 8-gauge sized and it’s pretty well choked by the immense current draw by the 3 amplifiers at the rear. So the upgrade is a must to save my battery life and protecting the amps from being damaged due to under-power.

The backbone of the whole system. The 0-gauge sized wire. As big as my thumb. Able to transfer sufficient current to power my 3 amps for the 4 subs and 4 component speakers.

2 Battery Terminal. Positive and Negative.

Power distributor. Able to split up to 2 4-gauge wires and 3 8-gauge wires.

Power distributor with Amperage and Voltage Display. A very useful kit to keep an eye of how much the whole system draws power and check if the voltage is sufficient.

Ichibahn 1.5 Farad capacitor with Voltage display. Stores current drawn from the battery and provides steady power to the amps. It can prevent current instability and current overdraw from the battery, thus prolong battery life.

This is the rest of the wire kit. RCA cables, remote cable, cable ties, speaker wires, grounding cables, screws and an Alan key to round up the kit.

Well, that’s all for now. In the next part I’ll show you my amplifiers and subs. Stay tuned!
