Ini Apek Punya Pharmacy

Saw this pharmacy in London with a name that is hilarious to me, as a Chinese Foochow. While not trying to be disrespectful of them, the term “Apek” is used by us to refer to an old man, or a male senior citizen. In our community, it’s considered unpolite to call an old man, “Apek”.
From the words on its glass windows, I guess it’s a Russian pharmacy. Anyone knows what Apek means in Russian?

Alex: Nah, I’m not that good a linguist, perhaps Wuching’s right about it being Greek words.
Gloria: Lolz. Perhaps yeah. I’m in Melbourne right now. The picture was taken when I was in London having vacation.
Wuching: Thanks for mentioning, that looks more Greek to me now than Russian. teehee.
