Instead, they'll be put up on "sell" order on the market until someone matches your selling price. You can click on the 'Order Status' to check out all your Buys and Sells, and see if a deal is done. As for the price, everyone would wanna earn the maximum possible margin available at any point of trading. It depends on the counter though. You can actually see how many people are offering to buy a particular shares and at what price.
