Commonwealth Games Tickets

March
This is the official Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games ticket to the badminton event at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. My friend Shawn owns the ticket.

I won’t be attending any games. Rather, I prefer the comfort of my own home and I can have multiple coverages at the click of a button. But I shall try to snap some photos of the opening ceremony down by the Yarra river. While I understood that Wuching will be covering the event on his blog, too!

If you lost the ticket, you can’t replace them. :/
If you’re an avid supporter of the athletics or the swimming event and you’re still without a ticket to the games, chances are, they’re all sold out by now. But don’t worry, there’s always eBay to the rescue.
Being the country’s dominating sport event, the swimming event’s tickets are on hot demand and a little knowledge of the business law will tell you that, if the demand goes up and the supply drops, the price will hike.

This is the ultimate hitchhike to a sudden goldrush. A supposedly AU$80+ ticket, being sold at AU$710.00! Pretty ridiculous ain’t it? But I do believe some hardcore supporters will get their hands on those tickets.

These 4 pieces of papers will cost you AU$2840. What would you rather do with that amount of money?

Oh, I wonder if we have live telecast in Malaysia.
So, how much have you made selling tickets on eBay?
4. Alex | March 13th, 2006 at 4:56 pm
wuching: I’m voting for a YES for you to go.
Jacky: I bet Malaysia will have live feed of the games. I’m not selling any tickets on eBay leh.

Hi, if you’re willing to part with the badminton ticket I am willing to buy it off u (with some profit for u). Actually looking for 4 tickets, but at this stage, anything will do. Hope to hear from U.

peker: I’m surprised that anyone would offer to buy those tickets on my blog. But I’m sorry I don’t think Shawn would sell his tickets. :/

Oh well, at least I tried. If Shawn is willing to part his ticket for $130, I’ll be glad to pick it up.

peker: $130 for one ticket? Confirm that with me and I’ll let Shawn know about your offer.
