DiGi Prepaid Starter Pack
27
October
I’m currently a Celcom postpaid user and I’m not really a very heavy user. I only make calls to local (Sarawak) handphones, and sometimes landlines if it’s necessary. Every end of the month is my nightmare. The bills would come and usually Celcom’s envelope is the scariest to be opened. It’ll certain to be in the range of 200-300++. I had the RM80/month package, but despite conserving as much calls as possible, the amount still didn’t drop.
When I saw these ads distributing all over the channels; the newspapers, billboards, TV commercials, English Premier League broadcast sponsorship, it’s basically everywhere!!! I started to wonder, how much did Celcom allocate in my monthly bills to hire those stars?

What are you looking at? Just talk and pay lahh!!
And then during the Raya holidays, I decided to buy myself a DiGi Prepaid starter pack to give it a try. I bought a RM50 reload card but damn, the FREE 50% extra talk time promotion had gone expired. Gotta wait till my birthday for the next BIG reload. DiGi gives 50% Free when you reload on your birthday, but it’s for registered numbers only though.

I’ll see if I can save on DiGi.

it’s common fact that celcom is the most expensive provider, followed by maxis, then digi…..
my dad is on digi postpaid….he hardly makes many calls n his monthly bill? less than rm50

The reason I use Hotlink prepaid because most of my contacts use Maxis / Hotlink. This can save money as I seldom SMS to or call contacts from other service providers.
I’m quite satisfied with the service provided by Hotlink. But it’s not doubt that Digi is the cheapest.

Any prepaid is better than postpaid if you’re a light user. If Digi won’t suit you…try Hotlink.

200 to 300 ++, u’re quite a heavy user. One of my mates tried and subscribed to maxis, digi and celcom before. Digi cheapest rate, Maxis most expensive, Celcom widest coverage.
I’m using postpaid celcom and prepaid digi. I should be very light user compared to u. hehehe. My bill around 100 only.
Digi services in KL for Hari RAya eve was down. Can’t make or receive calls for the nite.

Woahhhhhh!!!~ RM200 to RM300??? Are you sure you’re a light user??? I’m currently using DiGi Postpaid. I’m using a sub-line though. It charges only RM10 per month for the line. I mean, how cheap is that? And my bill is like below RM100. DiGi is the way to go. DiGi’s coverage in Penang is not bad. OHHHH.. and you got it on my birthday!~

me too.. i think that I wanna try using DIGI right now..
Currently, I was using POSTPAID CELCOM and PREPAID MAXIS (got a complicated plan. i think that i hate maxis now )…maybe they use our money to make a BOMBASTIC advertisement on road, media, anywhere. aaa.. there goes ASTRO for the AFUNDI.. alalala~..
i think i’m gonna use DIGI. erm.. what is your view after using DIGI?

I’m a Celcom Postpaid user subscribing to the minutes plan (RM50 per month). I’m not much of a heavy user and I think its still the cheapest at my usage rate compared to maxis postpaid (damn c**ts) or digi prepaid which both i’ve used before. All you need is a plan suitable to YOU and not anyone else. Doesn’t matter which operator. Nowadays, they are almost the same coverage-wise.

Ikoko: In terms of adverts, I think Celcom spent the most. Just look at their Premier League broadcast sponsorship on Astro.
Sakuragi: Well, if you’re in Sarawak, you’ll notice the obvious coverage area, in which Celcom has superior coverage than any other provider in rural areas.

i’ve used many numbers… digi prepaid, celcom prepaid, maxis prepaid, and now i’m using maxis prepaid and digi postpaid. i think maxis is quite good coz i used once to call out station almost everyday for 1 hour and the bill turn out to be 150. that was my top! digi gives me too much trouble(though i’m using prepaid). out of 20 msgs i send out there is always 1 or 2 msg fail to send.. whereelse for maxis almost never this thing happens. and digi always eat up my money for nothing. once it eat up twice of what i’m using. eg. i used up 5 bucks and my total minus up 10 bucks. it went on for almost 50 bucks then i stop using digi for some years.
but using which number is still your choice, so make the right choice

no digi network coverage along bahau keratong highway, ladang arishah, ladang geddes and around the area. bt celcom and maxis got wide coverage there.
