6:32 pm on the watch. As I was walking along in Murrumbeena Park this evening, I noticed something rather unusual. Something bright is hanging in the lower altitudes of the sky. It’s a big-ass full moon.
Sometimes I wonder, is it true that the moon is always bigger and brighter overseas?

7/7/2009. It’s the time of the year when the moon is closest to the Earth. 3 times as big? That’s really huge!

Apparently it is just an optical illusion, that’s why it doesn’t look so big in the photo.
That’s true, it was way bigger in real life than in the photo!
