Hi Alex!

Its me! I spoke to you before on another posting about Bintulu! I am still trying to get there, and I have my airfare now, but need to ask - will anyone employ anyone without a permit - unofficially? Or are they really very strict? I mean obviously everyone will say 'yes you must have a permit', but my friend says sometimes you arrive and get casual work in some places - get paid cash and just live to cover your daily expenses at least, with maybe a bit to spare! that would be ok - i could eat and have a bit of fun, and get somewhere to stay. I only want to do legal stuff, but just for a few months. I am asking your advice, because you seem to have a good working knowledge of the places, judging form your postings. I would be grateful for a view thanks! I have tried to get a job through all the normal channels - referred to web sites and need to be HIGHLY qualified! :( well i am good at what i do and quite capable but not highly qualified. any way thanks again!
