Progress on the building is going smoothly with pace. Cement were poured onto the first floor platform 2 days ago. Thanks to the bright sunshine, the cement solidifies and dry up quicker than expected. Works on the 2nd floor can now begin. I can start packing my stuffs and get ready to move back to Miri soon :D

Temporary gate to the Lutong-Kuala Baram Highway
A temporary gate to the Lutong-Kuala Baram Highway. Provides an easy access for the lorries to unload sands and building materials.

Woods scattered
Scattered woods. Over tonnes of them are used so far.

Additional columns
This column wasn’t in the plan. The contractor suggested an additional columns be built to avoid cracks under heavy loads.

Rear end of the building
The rear end of the building. This will be turned into tarred pathway for cars to access the building.

Grassy land
There are 2 more lots of empty lands beyond the rear of the building.

The building is scheduled to be completed and handed over by January 2008. Watch out for the new age automotive store in Miri :D
