I’m now posting this through Dodo World, a cyber cafe outlet of a broadband provider in Australia. A method of which I called “Internet Connection Outsourcing” is used when I’ve got no constant or immediate Internet connection at the place where I stayed. I’ve been posting through any stores or outlets where I can get Internet connections. Dick Smith’s Electronics was my previous spot. Back to Dodo World, well, you’ll only need to purchase any drink or food and be able to use their broadband Internet service. I sat down and ordered the cheapest drink in the menu. The Hot Tea, which only costs $1.50. Well, exchange that for an unlimited Internet access time would be worthwhile. But then, I’m typing this using the slimy, flexible, gel-feel-alike keyboard, which is a burden to type on. It’s really insensitive. And then the tea, which is just an ordinary Lipton tea bag dippd inside a coffee cup of hot water, plus some sugars in it. Oh, who give a fuck when I can get my hands on a post which is suppose to be here a week ago!

Things are going bad here. My telephone line just isn’t gonna make a sound. My housemate isn’t making any response about her progress of negotiations with the landlord. She rented the whole place down so she’s the person-in-charge for everything within the premise. I’m desperate enough to drive 5 minutes everyday for the *free* Internet service in an employment solutions company, but not desperate enough to get the line fixed and paid up by myself. Issues with the landlord are abso-fucking-lutely depressing as they do not wish to cover the repair charge for the damaged telephone line, which crippled the phone service. The line was like that initially before we moved in, so it was their responsibility to get it fixed! God damn it.

Without the Internet connection, I’ve got myself a different job, offline - Reading. I would come to Borders at Chadstone, a 3 storey giant bookstore the size of Sibu’s Parkson. It’s like a library in there, you coud literally find anything about everything. You can read their books from 9a.m.-10p.m, no one will stop you. That’s the best thing. And when you feel hungry or thirsty, they’ve even got a cafe in there! When you have the urge of getting online, like I do, just come to Dodo World, it’s just an escalator away from the store. For now, I’ve finished a book called The Zen of CSS Design, authored by the creator of CSS Zen Garden. I’m curently Still in progress with books like PHP 5 programming, Photoshop CS for Photographers, Sun Tze’s Art of War for Managers. Would review those books when I got my phone line fixed.

No photos though for this post even though I snapped some. All I’ve got here is the monitor, a mouse, and a keyboard, nothing to transfer my photos to be uploaded. Man, the services here are so limited that it feels like shit!

Oh, I forgot, I paid only $1.50 with no GST applied. No wonder.
