My Honda City has been in quite a mess of late.

A few months back, I’ve removed the 2 Lanzars at the rear boot to cut weight for I’ve to travel in between Sibu and Miri quite a lot.

Leaving behind this mess.

Removed wires. Even the thin board covering the spare tires are gone.

Shape of the rear boot cover is cut out from a half-inch thick plywood for better strength. It is later covered with carpet clothes.

This is the 0-gauge Installation kit from Ichibahn that I’ll be using for the upgrade. My previous wiring was 8-gauge sized and it’s pretty well choked by the immense current draw by the 3 amplifiers at the rear. So the upgrade is a must to save my battery life and protecting the amps from being damaged due to under-power.

The backbone of the whole system. The 0-gauge sized wire. As big as my thumb. Able to transfer sufficient current to power my 3 amps for the 4 subs and 4 component speakers.

2 Battery Terminal. Positive and Negative.

Power distributor. Able to split up to 2 4-gauge wires and 3 8-gauge wires.

Power distributor with Amperage and Voltage Display. A very useful kit to keep an eye of how much the whole system draws power and check if the voltage is sufficient.

Ichibahn 1.5 Farad capacitor with Voltage display. Stores current drawn from the battery and provides steady power to the amps. It can prevent current instability and current overdraw from the battery, thus prolong battery life.

This is the rest of the wire kit. RCA cables, remote cable, cable ties, speaker wires, grounding cables, screws and an Alan key to round up the kit.
