If you’re good at maths and economics, you can calculate the number of tourists coming in and the amount of money they’re gonna spend here. Tourism is a huge business in this part of the world!

Prior to landing, I saw houses that looks very similar to those I saw on my Monopoly board game.

and then there was the
After touch down, I went through some stringent custom checkpoints.

The Double Decker Bus

One of the many famous icons of London – the London double-decker bus. Anyone going to

The original bus tour.
Buckingham Palace

This is the

Entrance to the Buckingham Palace.
The London Underground

Another famous icon – The London Underground. This is the world’s oldest underground railway system. It’s been running since 1863 would you believe! and parts of the underground looks really, really worn.

Err, is this India? No shit, that’s

I don’t think that’s art, is it? Again, major refurbishment work required.

Not to be confused with the Waterloo in Belgium. This is the Waterloo underground station in London.

Luckily the train isn’t as old as the underground itself.
The London Dungeon

The London Dungeon is a tourist attraction, based in Tooley Street, London, near London Bridge rail station. It recreates various gory and macabre historical events in a style which attempts to make them appealing to the younger generation. Using a mixture of live actors, special effects and rides, the Dungeon brings the horrible history of London back to life in a scary but funny way.
- Wikipedia

The building that houses the London Dungeon. It has a V2 rocket hanging by its side.

Enter at your own Peril. It means that when you enter the dungeon, your safety is not their responsibility and if you scream for help, even you mama can’t help you! It’s that scary!
The London Bridge

That’s Cannon Street Railway Bridge to the west of the London Bridge. No picture of the London bridge as I’m standing on it. :/ But, here’s the Wikipedia’s photo of the bridge.

The London Bridge badge.

Another London Bridge badge.
Tower Bridge

Many people are mistaken this bridge as the London bridge. I was too when I was younger. But this is the Tower Bridge. The bridge can be raised up to allow ships to cross the river.
Again, this is an icon of London. Needless to mention, every picture I took in London is an icon. Geez.
Famous Brands

Marks & Spencer. Yeah, the one in KLCC, Kuala Lumpur. They’re originated from the U.K.

McDonald’s, typical, they’re everywhere. But they’re Made in the U.S.A. I wonder when will its branch be opened in Bintulu?

The world’s largest mobile communication network provider, based in England.

[...] Some of us can’t go back home in person. We can’t get time off work, we believe that we have important existences here in London, we have no cash to spend once we head off this wintry isle. And as we cannot join our loved ones, we head to the post office, to deliver the ma piece of our love. Usually the gifts aren’t that expensive. After all, with China producing everything we need for a song, and availability being worldwide, our gifts have to have more imagination than just this lousy t-shirt. [...]
